Why Compete?

Many dancers are not aware of the level of dance they can achieve until they are exposed to the competitive world of dance. Dance does not just exist within the four walls of our studio. If you view it in this way, you will never step outside your “comfort” zone. You will not realize the full range of your potential or experience that feeling of euphoria one gets from performing. Competitive Dance is NOT about winning it is about encouraging personal best and reaching new milestone's each season. We work hard together; we laugh together; we succeed together!

A timeline for the year will be provided (exact dates/venues TBA) upon acceptance to the team. The team will be attending 4 competitions and the Convention listed on the timeline. There will be one additional OPTIONAL competition for those routines advised by the Artistic Director (based on availability and progress).

Pre-Competitive and Novice Routines MAY only attend 3 of the 4 competitions depending on progress. Elite Dancers competing in 4 routines or more should be attending at least ONE additional workshop this season. We will provide suggestions of local options within South Western Ontario.
